The Purple Rose of Cairo

 I enter the class and walk toward desk. Taking the backpack out of the way I pull the chair out and sat down. Sitting down I thought to myself, "What is she going to teach us today."  While think this I look up and saw the screen that said "the purple rose of Cairo". I wonder want it was and in that instant Ms. Killeen said, "We are watching the movie that you choose." I look up the screen and Ms. Killeen click play and the movie stared.

The film "ThePurple Rose of Cairo" directed by Wooden Allen it telling us about how reality and fiction are so different from each other but we need both of them in our lives. The movie that was showing in the movie theater show us how the fiction life is easier and everything was perfect. We can see this by the away the characters in the movie of the movie theater wear glamorous clothes, they always were in parties and music was really happy. Also we see this when one of the character in the movie said, "Choose Tom, he does not have flaws".  The real life was so different fiction life. We see the real life outside the movie theater was people wear gray colors and they have trouble find job. Cecilia life is falling apart, she does not have a good job, her husband those not have job and she in unhappy. There is one part on the movie when someone see, "Fiction characters want to be real and real people want to be fiction". Basically every time Cecilia went to the movie she was escaping real life to go to the fiction one. When Cecilia is with Tom the fictional character the background music tell us that she is happy and does worry about anything. She is escapes from her life but it did end she goes back it. The last scene on the movie shows us how even though Cecilia has a lot of sadness the fiction brings her happiness.

The light when up and with big letters it said, "End". I was shock because I like the movie and i learned something for it. That in is life we need to have little bit of fiction and real because fiction makes us happy and real teach us about life.
